Juventus confirm loan signing of Kamil Grabara until 30 June 2027 with €11.5m buy option

Advancing

Juventus have confirmed the temporary acquisition of goalkeeper Kamil Grabara from VfL Wolfsburg on loan until 30 June 2027. The agreement includes a €0.5m fee and €0.2m in ancillary costs, with up to €0.3m more payable if specific objectives are met. Juventus hold the right to make the transfer permanent for €11.5m, payable over three financial years. The 27-year-old Pole arrives after spells at Liverpool, Copenhagen (where he won two league titles and a cup) and Wolfsburg, for whom he made 63 Bundesliga appearances. He is expected to serve as back-up to Guglielmo Vicario. Wojciech Szczęsny described Grabara as “Really an excellent goalkeeper.”

Why it matters

The move formally adds an experienced goalkeeper to Juventus’ roster on a loan until 30 June 2027 while preserving a clear route to a permanent signing. The contract details - a modest loan fee with a buy option of €11.5m payable across three financial years - define the club’s financial exposure and decision window. Sporting-wise, Juventus gain a keeper with domestic and European honours in Copenhagen and substantial Bundesliga experience as cover behind the established starter.
